The girls found their haven - the Mall of America. We actually walked the ENTIRE mall - in 3 hours, looking for swimming goggles - which, would you believe, no one had. There's this huge amusement park in the middle of the place - and the girls went on 2 daring rides. Tonight we'll post the names of the rides, we're down having breakfast right now - couldn't log on last night.
Two incredible things - it was light here until 10pm - which conversely it got light here around 4am - and the traffic around Chicago & St. Paul / Minneapolis. We wouldn't think that it could be worse than Rte 80 or the Parkway - but it was. None the less, we made good time getting here - and we're about half way through the country. We go to Rapid City today - and we'll see Mount Rushmore tonight and then all day tomorrow.
We're still a happy family - having a GREAT time - and yes, Roger has been to 3 American Girl Places now, which he wants it to be known as an American Male record even though he says he doesn't want anyone to know, he does - they just opened one in the Mall of America and it was HUGE.
